This paper mainly studies the process of ball screw, including the processing flow of ball screw, the selection of process parameters, and the control of processing quality. Through the analysis of the processing flow of ball screw, the processing sequence of ball screw is determined, including turning, boring, milling groove, ball path processing and other steps. In the process of processing, the key link is ball path processing, which requires the selection of suitable tools, cutting parameters and processing methods to ensure the accuracy and surface quality of ball path. In terms of the selection of process parameters, this paper analyzes the cutting speed, feed speed, cutting depth and cutting force from various aspects. Through experiments and practices, a reasonable range of process parameters is obtained to ensure the balance between processing quality and production efficiency. Finally, this paper also introduces the control method of ball screw processing quality, including the detection and correction during the processing, the detection method of ball screw, and the quality control standard.
